ABA Therapy in Az Tailored to Your Child’s Needs

What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals with autism build communication, social, and daily living skills through positive reinforcement. ABA focuses on understanding behavior and teaching new, meaningful skills that support greater independence.

At Arizona Autism Clinic, every ABA program is personalized based on your child’s needs and guided by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Therapy targets key areas such as communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning.

ABA therapy provides a structured, supportive path that helps children learn, grow, and thrive at every developmental stage.

How ABA Therapy Works at Our Clinic (Process)

Our ABA therapy process is simple, structured, and designed to give families clarity from day one.

1. Comprehensive Assessment & Goal Setting

A BCBA evaluates your child’s strengths, challenges, and needs to create a personalized treatment plan with measurable, meaningful goals.

2. Individualized ABA Treatment Plan

Your child receives a tailored program focusing on communication, behavior, social skills, self-care, emotional regulation, and independence; based on their age and developmental stage.

3. Consistent 1:1 Therapy & Ongoing BCBA Oversight

A dedicated therapist works one-on-one with your child each session, while your BCBA monitors progress, adjusts goals, and ensures therapy stays effective and aligned with your child’s growth.

Family Training & Support

We believe therapy works best when families feel confident and supported. That’s why parent collaboration is built into every program.

Monthly Parent Coaching Sessions

Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) meets with you monthly to give you clear insight into your child’s progress and practical strategies you can use right away. During these sessions, your BCBA reviews goals, shares data in an easy-to-understand format, and walks you through what’s working in therapy. This is your time to ask questions, learn new techniques, and feel fully supported as your child grows. Families leave each session with real tools they can apply at home, school, and in the community.

Hands-On Caregiver Training

Siblings play a key role in your child’s everyday experiences. With guidance from our clinical team, we run a monthly program dedicated to siblings—giving them a supportive space to talk with peers who share similar experiences, make new friends, and build their own coping and communication skills.

Transparent Progress Updates & Collaboration

You deserve to know exactly how your child is progressing. Our team provides regular updates that break down goals, data trends, and new milestones in a way that actually makes sense. We believe in open communication and ongoing collaboration. Parents are always part of the decision-making process. Your BCBA adjusts goals as your child grows, ensuring therapy stays relevant, effective, and aligned with your family’s priorities.
